Positions to Serve!
We welcome all serious minded Christians who wish to contact us concerning the positions that are open noted below. Please don't waste my time if you are not a King James Version Only believer, or don't agree with our doctrinal statement 100% (our doctrinal statement is found at the "What We Believe" tab). I don't care who you know, where you went to school, who your pastor is, or how much money you'll give. If you don't agree with Bible doctrine don't contact me for any position.
We have several positions that need to be filled. If you are interested please email me and send us your resume. At this time in our birthing of our church, NO positions are paid positions. If you are wondering, that includes the pastor. This is a new church, with just a handful of people. If money is your only reason for being in the ministry, then you are in the wrong line of work. Money and benefits is the LAST thing that should concern you when considering a ministry. Matthew 6:31-34 "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek :) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." If you are God called, and in God's will he will take care of you with no pay, more than if you had a great benefit package and plenty of money. You may say, "I have to take care of my family." God is the one taking care of your family, not you. Our job is to be in the center of His will and trust Him at what he does best, and a whole lot better than us. 1 Timothy 6:6-12 "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and piereced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses." 2 Corinthians 8:9 "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." As the church grows, certainly most positions will be paid positions. For that to happen though, someone has to "bite the bullet" and get to work just because they want to serve God. This means you will need to get a job if you move here. I myself am doing this very thing that I am asking you to do. I work as many hours as I can in my grass cutting business. I also do odd jobs, such as painting. Plus take care of the church obligations and go visiting and knocking on doors. My wife, Beth cleans houses; home schools our youngest daughter Amy, and is the secretary for the church. She also works in our neighborhood to help ladies with their problems in life. Hannah and Maria, our two other daughters, work full time jobs every week, doing whatever they can to help. I want ask you to do anything that I'm not willing to do. If I did, I would be a hypocrite, and I believe we have enough of those already in churches today. Philippians 4:9 "Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." This is a GREAT opportunity to get in on the ground floor in building a work of God. I hope and pray that God will help you in your decision in contacting us. Thanks.
Pastor Marc
Piano Player
This position does not pay any salary. First of all, playing the piano is a privilege and opportunity to serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This is also a great chance to be involved in a new growing ministry. Next, this is not a paid position because it is not a full time job. Meaning you don't have to quit a job to play the piano for the services. Lastly, because the Bible teaches that some things in the House of God should be filled by God's Children just because they love God. 1Thessalonians 1:3 "Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;" This is not to say we will never pay someone, such as a widow.
We only use "psalms, hymns, spiritual songs and some Southern Gospel music. Ephesians 5:19 "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord..." We are an old fashion church with old fashion beliefs, and we plan on staying that way. Music is one of the very first compromises in most Independent and Southern Baptist churches. We allow NO contemporary music, NO "Christian rap", NO "Christian Rock", etc. We hope you love the Lord and must become actively involved in leading people to Jesus as their Saviour. You will need to meet when the song leader, choir, and special groups meet. Matthew 28:19-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." You may be talented and gifted with playing the piano, but your first duty and commission is to lead others to Christ. You will be required to go visiting each week. You will be required to wear dresses or skirts (applies only to ladies not men) at all services, practices, etc. You will be required to sign the church’s standard for your position. This position can be male or female.

Song Leader
We are looking for someone who is able to lead the song service and help prepare the hearts of people before the preaching. At the same time we believe that music is God’s Word put to music. Every song must be Biblical. It is just as wrong to sing a lie as it is to tell a lie. Music is to prepare the heart of the people in singing the Word of God before the preaching of the Word of God. Music is not to entertain. You would be responsible for having the songs prepared and in order before the service. We don't have any worship or praise services. You will need to lead a choir (when we have one) and have specials prepared. Practice with the choir and special groups once a week. Being a leader and an example is a must. You will be responsible for enforcing the standards of our church that each person involved in music must adhere to. You will be responsible for seeing that the members of the choir dress modestly. Meaning, that all ladies wear dresses or skirts below the knee. Their shirt, blouse, and tops are near the neck line. This includes all practices. You will be expected and required to wear a suit and tie at all services. Some experience would be nice but not a must. We only use "psalms, hymns, spiritual songs" and some Southern Gospel music. NO Contempory Christian Music or Contempory Southern Gospel of any kind. Ephesians 5:19 "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord..." This position can be male only. You will be required to go visiting every week.
