Homosexuality = Abomination
The term homosexual was first coined by Karl-Maria Kertbeny in 1869 in a pamphlet arguing against a Prussian anti-sodomy law. The dictionary defines it as having sexual desires with the same sex. The term itself is not found in the Bible, but the concept and warning against it is present. Homosexuality is a sin and is called an abomination. The Bible says in the Old Testament and the New Testament that homosexuality is a sin. It is a wicked and perverted lifestyle that is chosen by the individual. No one is born a homosexual. Homosexuals that say they are born this way are liars. All men are born sinners, and are capable of being a homosexual. If it wasn't for God's saving grace, I could be one. God and Christians should love homosexuals, but hate the sin. Many Independent Fundamental Baptist have this turn around backwards. They hate the homosexual and the sin. God died for the homosexual just like he did for me.
Since the homosexual lifestyle is a perversion of what God created, sex in marriage between a male and female, their teaching should not be permitted in any form, their lifestyle should not be tolerated, the laws that protect them should be reversed, businesses that condone and encourage such should be closed down, politicians that pass gay marriages should be kicked out of office, cities that hoard them and parade them down the street as idols should be an outcast, and Hollywood=Follywood should be destroyed.
Some may say that we are not to judge one another, but that is because they are ignorant of the Word of God. The Bible says we are to "prove all things." Prove; judge all things according to God's Word, not my opinions or ideas.
Some may say you don't come down on adultery or lying like you do homosexuality, why is that? Well the fact is I do. I come down on all sin. Just take a look at World News, Sports News, etc on my web site. Homosexuality is not the only sin, that is true, and it is true that all sin is wicked before God no matter how "small" it may be. It is also true that all sin does not have the same affect in this world. For example, God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorra because they were liars, or adulteress. He destroyed them because they where homosexuals. Jude 1:7 "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." God especially hates homosexuality because it is a sin against nature. It "change the natural use into that which is against nature." God calls homosexuality in Romans chapter one "vile affections" (v. 26), "against nature" (v. 26), "unseemly" (v. 27), "a reprobate mind" (v. 28), "not convenient" (v. 28).
As far as the church goes they have no place of service but the alter to repent and trust Jesus Christ alone as their Saviour for their sins. The Bible gives no place of service to a practicing homosexual. That includes pastor of any kind, usher, deacon, music director, specials, choir, teacher, etc. Once a homosexual has been saved and proved himself, he then can serve in the local New Testament Church, but not before.
I am not condoning hate crimes nor do I believe that we as Christians should be violent; instead we should be loving and not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Which is about preaching the love of God as well as the holiness of God. Preaching the mercy of God as well as the judgment of God. The world wants to hear the love, even the homosexual, but they don't want to hear that their lifestyle choice is a sin. Instead they want teachers and preachers that want be preachy, but just tickle their ears and scratch their backs. That have lace on their underwear, or that wears panties. It's time that we as Christians stand in the gap, and follow the old paths. If God's people would humble themselves, pray, seek God's face, and turn from their sin, God promises to forgive our sins and heal our land. II Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Sodom and three surrounding cities was full of practicing homosexuality.
Genesis 19:4-14
Sodom and those cities were destroyed by fire as a judgment due to their homosexual practices.
Genesis 19:24-25 "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground."
A term of reproach that was given to those who practiced sodomy.
Deuteronomy 23:17 "There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel."
1 Kings 14:24 "And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel."
1 Kings 15:12 "And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made."
1 Kings 22:46 "And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land."
2 Kings 23:7 "And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove."

Homosexuality called an abomination.
Leviticus 18:22-30 "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you. For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God."
Leviticus 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
The New Testament Teaches against homosexuality.
Romans 1:24-32 "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
